Find Your True Voice

I offer private voice lessons AND group lessons for both beginners or experienced singers, online or in person in Berlin!

In lessons we address all things technical:
- how to sing healthfully with proper technique for any style
-how to sing and approach high notes
-how to maneuver the breaks
-how to support
-how to find resonance
-how to take care of your voice
-how to project and connect to your body
And how to navigate any emotions that have a tendency to come up when you start to tap into your true voice - shame, fear, rejection, learning how to be more confident and work through insecurities, etc.

Vocal Coaching
Anyone can learn to sing!

I have been teaching voice, throughout my performing career, for the last 20 years, and I firmly believe that anyone can learn to sing. Learning to sing is one of the most wonderful and fascinating processes that exists. My journey has been an interesting one because I have been both a professional opera singer and a recording artist/singer-songwriter.

I have 3 degrees in vocal performance and had the privilege of studying at one of the best conservatories in the world - the Manhattan School of Music in NYC. I worked as a teaching artist for the Metropolitan Opera Guild and then I moved to Berlin to continue pursuing my opera career where I had the opportunity to sing some of my dream opera roles, both live - in Europe, Singapore, and the United States - and even once on film! While I was in Berlin, I completely fell in love with songwriting through my song diary project and ended up switching gears, first starting a band and recording an EP, and then taking a job as an adjunct Professor of Music at Simpson University for 5 years and moving out to California where I could keep teaching and writing, recording and touring, and I have gotten to record with amazing, Grammy award winning producers like Charlie Peacock, who produced The Civil Wars and Switchfoot and Gordon Raphael, who produced Regina Spektor and The Strokes.

I offer private voice lessons, individually or within a package, as well as group vocal coaching. Most of my teaching is done online so you can live anywhere in the world and take voice lessons from the privacy of your own home. Message me for more info!
